25+ Years of Legal Advocacy in Ghana
The African Women Lawyers Association, Ghana (AWLA Ghana) is an apolitical, non-profit, non-denominational professional association comprising women lawyers in Ghana and across Africa. We promote the welfare of Women & Children, the study of comparative law, and advance the opportunities available to women — ensuring their voices are heard and their rights protected. Registered in 1999 under the Companies Code (Act 179) as GA 4,863, we have been at the forefront of legal advocacy for over 25 years.
